THE PRODUCTS

At Empire Salon, we take great pride in partnering with companies that align with our values.  Our decision to join the Davines family was not a choice we made lightly. We searched for a hair product line with beautiful, high end ingredients that had a passion for educating stylists, supporting salons, all while minimizing the impact on the environment.

Davines products use only the minimum amount of plastics and packaging required while being food-grade for use long after the product has been used . Their quirky packaging reflects a brand that has a boutique “feel” and the smells are nothing short of heavenly.

Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983, the Davines Group started out as a laboratory producing high-end hair products for renowned cosmetic companies worldwide before launching their own brand of products exclusively for salon professionals.  Look closely at the bottles and you’ll notice that they name the exact farm in Italy as well as the farmers themselves that produce the ingredients in that product.  It doesn’t get more local than that.

We loved these products so much that we have also switched all of our chemical and color to Davines as well.  The colors are rich, vibrant, and Davines has an entire line that is ammonia and scent free.

Check out any of their social media and you’ll notice that they are a brand filled with  a distinctive, unique personality (Just like us!) and always seem to be at the forefront of the beauty industry.

“By creating beauty sustainability, we encourage people to take care of themselves, of the environment in which they live and work, of the things they love”.  – Davines Group

Kevin Murphy is known for his styling products.  He worked as an editorial stylist and was featured in many premiere magazines.  He is also widely known for inventing 'beach hair'.  Due to developing allergies, he decided to make his own paraben free/sulphate free/allergy sensitive line of products.  Come in and experience what Kevin Murphy has to offer!

Contrary to popular belief, Olaplex is not a treatment but acts as a buffer helping to prevent breakage due to chemical services and lightening.  We recommend Olaplex for hair that has been previously compromised and/or when dramatically changing your color.
